If we pass Medicaid expansion in Kansas here's what will happen:

* New jobs;
* Access to affordable healthcare for thousands of families;
* New business opportunities for Kansas;
* Rural hospital support;
* More than $450 million in federal funds.

Expanding Medicaid and opening up access to affordable healthcare for hundreds of thousands of Kansans is not only the right thing to do, it's also practical. Unfortunately, Kansas Republicans are doing whatever they can to stop Medicaid expansion -- even though 38 other states (including Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Colorado) have already successfully expanded Medicaid.

Expanding Medicaid has always been Laura's top priority. Every time Kansas Republicans strike down a proposal to make healthcare more affordable, we continue to fight.

It's clear: Kansas Republicans are committed to playing political games with the health and wellbeing of Kansans. We need to take action and demand they stop.
