Our roads, energy grid, and water system ensure public health and safety — but they've been underinvested in. And for too long, corporations haven't been paying their fair share in taxes. Workers have been earning poverty wages, while rent, child care, education, and health care costs skyrocketed. We're living with an economy that makes the rich richer and the poor poorer, but it doesn't have to be this way.
Last week in Pittsburgh, President Joe Biden unveiled our roadmap to rebuilding the American middle class and creating a future that works for everyone: the American Jobs Plan.
