It’s the second week of Earth Month, and over 2,000 people have joined in and contributed to help us raise over $60,000 so far. Earth Month is our biggest fundraiser that happens only once a year, and there’s many ways that you can get involved. Check it out.
We’re in a climate crisis. We must keep global temperature increases (from pre-industrial levels) under 1.5 degrees Celsius in order to prevent the worst impacts, from extreme weather to food scarcity and beyond.
The money you raise funds Sierra Club’s programs like retiring coal plants, moving away from fossil fuels, and transitioning to clean energy, like solar and wind, in an equitable and just way. We hope you’ll join us and create a fundraising page for Earth Month.
For the 5th year, you can celebrate Earth Day with us by getting outdoors to explore (go for a hike!), enjoy (garden, plant a tree!), and protect (pick up trash!) our planet. You can also create a Team Sierra fundraising page and ask family and friends to donate for Earth Day.
You can post your photos on social media and use #TeamSierra for a chance for your photos to be shared on our social channels.
Shirts are going fast! This year’s recycled shirt by Marine Layer celebrates exploring the outdoors. You can purchase it for $39 or raise $39, and the proceeds will support our mission.
These shirts cost $15 each to produce and ship. Anything you donate or raise beyond that sustains our mission to protect our planet and the people on it.
We suggest ordering it before April 8 to get yours by Earth Day (April 22). Shipping takes 5-10 business days and is only in the United States.
*Please allow 5-10 business days for arrival. Shipping is only available in the United States. If you create a fundraising page, you’ll receive an email with instructions to get your shirt after you raise $39.
