It’s planting season, folks!

Now that the snow is mostly behind us, farming on Big Sandy has begun in earnest. Last week, Shon and I filled the air seeder with plow down pea seed and seeded all weekend.

I always love this time of year on the farm. The task of scheduling my work in the Senate around the inflexible timing of farm responsibilities drives my staff crazy — but they know my farm work is non-negotiable. It keeps me quite literally, grounded.

But before I head back to Washington, I want to make sure I get your input on a few things. A crucial part of being a United States Senator is actually listening to the people I represent. So, I’m asking:

Will you take a few moments to let me know what issues are most important to you by filling out my quick April Survey today? Hearing directly from you helps me serve you better in the United States Senate.

Thanks for taking the time. Reading your responses is one of my favorite things to do at the end of the day.
