Good evening,
I hope you can join us for our latest ASI webinar tomorrow evening on Race and Britain ([link removed]) .
In a recently released report, the Government’s Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities investigated the extent and nature of racial disparities in the UK, as well as providing recommendations for policy change. It prompted strong and mixed reactions.

** Race and Britain
------------------------------------------------------------
Among the Commission's conclusions was a call to ditch the term BAME (black and minority ethnic) and findings that were widely reported as saying that that the UK was not institutionally racist. But the 258-page document also tackled plenty of other issues in detail.
How much progress has the UK made on tackling the issues of discrimination and access based on race in fields like education, health, employment and criminal justice? How do we compare to our neighbours? How does race relate to other factors such as social class and geography in shaping life chances? What can we do to improve? And what does the reaction to the report's publication teach us about how best to talk about the subject of race?
In this webinar, we’re delighted to be joined by three experts in the field of racial issues to discuss the report and its findings.
