When I announced my first Congressional bid in 2012 — the pundits said I didn’t have a chance.

When I sought re-election in 2018 after Donald Trump won my district by 10 points — the insiders said I might be doomed.

When I ran again last year after voting to impeach Donald Trump and supporting pro-worker policies — many prognosticators were counting me out.

But every single time, we’ve kept this key swing seat blue and never stopped, slowed, or diverted our effort for working Americans.

And it’s all because of you, John.

It’s because of everyday folks on our team who make phone calls, talk to friends, or pitch in donations ahead of key deadlines like this week’s FEC filing deadline.

Even though Donald Trump has won my district twice — and we already have a far-right opponent — I am more confident than ever that we can hold this seat and keep our Democratic House Majority in 2022.

I wish I could say it will be easy. It won’t be easy. It will involve a lot of good ol’ fashioned grassroots work, but with this team by my side, I know we will do it.
