John --
North Carolinians Against Gun Violence Action Fund needs your help
to pressure lawmakers to pass sensible gun violence prevention laws
now!
The public is demanding action and some of our representatives in
Raleigh are listening. Legislation to implement the changes we need is
crafted and ready to go but NRA backed politicians are blocking
it.
The NCGV Action Fund was created to:
- Inform voters on how their representatives have voted in the
past.
- Inform voters on how their representatives will likely vote on a
particular bill.
The public needs to know their representatives’ actions and hold
them accountable in order to implement life-saving gun violence
prevention measures.
Perhaps your representative already supports these bills. You still
can affect NRA backed gun expansion candidates in other districts who
oppose gun reform efforts.
Your
donation to the NCGV Action Fund can help target ads in these NRA
backed districts and mobilize voters to make a different choice at the
ballot box.
In 2018, with limited funding in our first year, NCGV Action Fund
placed social media ads in four districts where gun reform candidates
were competitive. All four seats flipped! Now Christy Clark, one of
those new legislators, is co-sponsoring a life-saving bill that is
being obstructed in Raleigh.
We believe we are the only gun reform organization doing such work
to flip NC legislative districts where NRA-supported candidates are
vulnerable. Your donation will help inform voters in these districts
and ensure they are clear on how candidates have voted and what they
are likely to support in the future.
So,
please donate to the NCGV Action Fund today.
Your financial support will help reach voters in other districts -
many of whom are among the 92% of Americans who want gun reform NOW.
However their voices are muted by NRA backed representatives refusing
to EVEN VOTE on sensible gun violence prevention measures to combat
our gun violence epidemic. Please contribute today and let’s do
this!
Sincerely,
Becky
