Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Odessa is a longtime public
servant and co-founder of Stand Up Nashville, an organization fighting for
racial and economic justice. She’s committed to making her community and
this country a better place for people who’ve been ignored for far too
long. Odessa will passionately fight for a Green New Deal and Medicare for
All to level the playing field and build pathways out of poverty for
people across the country.

Odessa is running to upend the status quo. She’s challenging a corporate
Democrat in TN-05 who’s been in office for over 30 years and takes
hundreds of thousands of dollars from corporate PACs — the very same
corporate PACs that want to block Medicare for All and a Green New Deal.
He’s out-of-touch and has spent decades in office dragging his feet on
policies that would help working people. Odessa will champion those
policies and fight for the people.
