Friend,
This week we recognized Trans Day of Visibility. But the bad news is that trans rights are under attack right now by far-right state legislatures across the country.
While a vast majority of people want to empower our transgender friends and neighbors, a minority of powerful interests are fighting to pass bigoted legislation that strips rights away from LGBTQ+ people.
So, I want to be clear. As Lt. Governor, I will not only reject transphobic legislation, but I will fight for the right to gender-affirming healthcare, safe housing, and equity for transgender Virginians.
The best way we can create the kind of change we want to see is to elect leaders who will keep their promises to the LGBTQ+ community. When I led the Fairfax NAACP, we created an intersectional, unified voice for reform by committing to solidarity for all marginalized people. Now I’m running for higher office to ensure that we can bring that solidarity to the halls of power.
Can you chip in just $10 today and help power our movement for equity and justice for ALL Virginians?

I’m glad to have you on this journey. We’re in this fight together, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
In solidarity,
Sean Perryman
