Dear John,
I just wanted to take a quick moment to wish you a very happy Easter today.
Last year, soon after the pandemic hit, we had so many questions about how to move forward. It’s been a challenging year, but faith in Jesus has seen many of us through. Over 2,000 years ago, he gave his life and conquered death so that we could live, and I try to live every day in appreciation of that sacrifice.
We’re seeing signs of new life all around us too. Not just with spring blossoms and getting fields ready for planting, but also within our communities. There is hope with the vaccines that are being widely distributed. In western Minnesota, it feels like things are almost back to normal, and I thank the Lord for it.
I hope that all of you are able to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior today, and send a prayer of thanks to Him.
Happy Easter from my family to yours,
Michelle
