Last week, the Georgia state legislature passed new, awful voter suppression legislation into law.

Now, the Republican-controlled state government has the power to disqualify voters in heavily Democratic areas. They've placed limits on ballot drop boxes and set up unnecessarily strict ID requirements. They've even made providing food or water to voters waiting in line a crime, without doing anything about the hours-long lines we saw in 2020.

We're fighting hard to pass protections for voters at the federal level that would supersede this horrific legislation -- but with Republicans still using the filibuster to block bills like the For The People Act, we must continue to make it clear that voter suppression is antithetical to everything our country stands for.

As the more than 250 voter suppression bills proposed in state legislatures across the country make their way through the legislative process -- such as the Arizona bill giving the state legislature the power to reject the popular vote in a presidential election -- it's important that we keep our records up to date on where you stand.
