Daines Visits the
Biden Crisis at the Southern Border

Last week, I joined a group of
senators and headed to the southern border to take a look at Biden's
Border Crisis firsthand. What we saw was heartbreaking and dangerous.
Montana may be a northern border state, but we have a southern border
problem, and it was clear that President Biden's open border policies have
caused the crisis we are seeing now. We must secure our border
now--for the safety of Montana families and communities.

Illegal immigrants preparing to cross the border--not a
thing stopping them.

Signs directing illegal immigrants to
processing points where they are processed and then released into the country
sometimes without even a court date. President Biden stopped
construction on the wall and now relies on the honor system.

families with young children that President Biden encouraged to make
this dangerous journey.

I also had the
opportunity to speak with Agent Perez about the reality of the Bident
Border Crisis. I'm thankful for our brave border patrol agents that are
doing everything they can to keep America safe.

The crisis at our
southern border is a tragedy and we must put an end to it immediately.
