Rep. Nanette Barragán recently went to the border to witness the Biden Administration's immigration policy changes in action. She met with U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers, aide workers, and migrants -- here’s what she saw:
We need leaders in Congress who aren't afraid to stand up and demand better for migrants who arrive at our border and within our immigrant communities -- leaders like Nanette.
Now, with our Democratic majorities in the House and Senate, and the Biden Administration in charge of our government agencies, we can begin to rebuild our asylum system, and pass real comprehensive immigration reform.
However, our quick work to try and reverse the terrible anti-immigrant policies of the last four years hasn't gone unnoticed -- Republican interests are gearing up to pour millions into their efforts to take back the House Majority. We can't let that happen.
