Braddock is full of good people who are as resilient as the steel that’s made here.

But folks are struggling, and we can’t depend on leaders who make a big show of their work without delivering real progress.

We need someone who knows in their bones what it’s like to work twice as hard to get half as far — that’s who Malcolm is.

I was born and raised in Braddock. But when Malcolm told me about his North Philly community, I heard so many similarities between the struggles our communities face.

That’s how I know Malcolm can relate to our experience, and it’s how I know he will fight for creative ways to help working folks from every part of Pennsylvania — from Braddock to Philly and everywhere in between.

But for now, it’s on us to help him win this race, and I couldn’t be more proud to join the Working Families Party and dozens of elected officials and organizations in supporting Team Malcolm — a team that’s powered 100% by real working people.

That means Malcolm will only answer to us in the Senate, not the corporate PACs and lobbyists that control some of our leaders (I’m looking at you, Senator Toomey).
