Thank you for signing up to stay in-the-loop about The Trevor Project. As you may know, we’re the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ youth. I’m so glad you’re choosing to join our community.

Let me introduce myself — my name is Amit Paley and I’m the CEO of The Trevor Project. Before being named as CEO, I was a counselor for six years for our 24/7 TrevorLifeline. I had the opportunity to answer hundreds of calls from youth in crisis. I have such a strong sense of pride and respect for our work, our volunteers, our callers, and everyone on our team. I know firsthand the importance of our work and its importance to the lives of LGBTQ youth across the country.

Last year, we answered more than 75,000 lifeline calls, chats, and texts at The Trevor Project. We’re connecting counselors to young people in crisis every day, every hour, all year long. We’re working on the ground in every state and Washington, D.C. to pass legislation protecting LGBTQ youth. We’re doing research to better understand what our youth are facing and how we can best support them. We’re cultivating a safe online space through TrevorSpace for hundreds of thousands of young people everywhere. And we couldn’t do our life-saving work without our supporters like you, so thank you.

We’ll continue to support LGBTQ youth 24/7, protecting the rights of LGBTQ young people, and we will always be here for the next generation.
