It is the largest contributor of climate pollution to our stormwater runoff, too. By making smart investments, Washington State can tackle transportation pollution at its source and create a cleaner and more equitable transportation system for all. This week, the House released their proposed transportation package. And we need your help to make sure it is as clean and just as possible! Washington needs strong investments that reduce pollution, increase access, diversify and electrify options, and address long-standing water quality and salmon issues with our roadways. Not only are these investments good for the environment, they’re good for people, especially people with low-incomes, communities of color, elderly, and disabled folks. We have an obligation to address longstanding and structural racism we see across the transportation sector and to create family-wage careers to boost our economic recovery. Onwards, Sarah Farbstein
