John,

During the 2020 election we saw historic voter turnout not just in Kansas, but across the country. In the months since the election we've seen state legislature after state legislature pass bills to restrict the right to vote -- and now Republicans in our state legislature are trying to pass similar legislation.

We should be celebrating the people who want to participate in our election process, not making it harder for them to vote. Instead Kansas Republicans are trying to limit Kansas' options for early vote and ballot return in future elections.

This is a clear attempt at voter suppression and I won't stand for it. We saw massive success after our last election and there is no practical reason to try to make it harder for Kansans to vote.

I'm committed to ensuring our elections stay fair, honest, and transparent, and that starts by protecting every Kansan's right to vote. Join me in calling on our state legislators to strike down this bill and protect our right to vote. Add your name to our petition to protect voting rights today.
