Friends — We are spending the Congressional recess in style.

We fought hard to get the Dream & Promise Act and Farm Workforce Modernization bills passed by the House, but now we need the Senate to act on a pathway to citizenship for our communities. So we decided to show up at the doorsteps of the Senators who could make the difference in securing a pathway to citizenship for millions of immigrant youth, TPS holders and essential workers.

Allies in Florida teamed up with United We Dream to bring the noise to Senator Marco Rubio’s home and demand he hold true to his promise to protect immigrant communities and vote ‘YES’ on the Dream Act, Secure Act, and the Farm Workforce Modernization bills in the Senate.

Our actions aren’t stopping there — next Tuesday, we’ll be taking our mariachi madness to Houston, Texas where we’ll visit Senator John Cornyn’s office and demand he follow through with his previous support for undocumented youth by sending these bills to President Biden’s desk.

Direct actions like these allow us to go toe-to-toe with those standing in the way of progress while millions live under the threat of deportation.
