On Tuesday, April 6, we have an opportunity to vote our clean water values.
Our friends and allies at River Alliance of Wisconsin [[link removed]] have launched an innovative campaign called Clean Water Now, and I want to share a bit about it ahead of the election.
Clean Water Now [voteforcleanwater.com.] is a county referenda campaign to demand the right to clean water in Wisconsin. Voters in Wood, Portage and Marquette County will have the chance to voice their support for clean water for all when they vote in April. Local leaders are lining up to follow suit in more counties across the state.
Clean Water Now is a multi-year campaign designed to increase local participation in protecting our water across the state. Local leaders are asking their county boards to protect their waters and health by putting the Clean Water Now referendum question on the April 2021 ballot – and beyond.
