After two huge special election losses, Republicans in Georgia retaliated with a MASSIVE voter suppression bill attempting to prevent future Democratic victories. They've just passed the torch to their Republican allies in Texas.

In 2018, Texas saw its highest turnout in decades thanks to Democratic voter registration and organizing efforts in cities and diversifying suburbs. It was a strong indicator of where Texas is headed in the long run. In response, Texas Republicans took a page from Georgia's playbook and introduced sweeping restrictions on early, drive-through, and mail-in voting.

John, these are consequences of allowing Republicans to dominate state-level elections. We need to put a stop to this bill immediately. Then, we need to unseat Republicans across the country working to restrict voting rights.
