The dedication and generosity of this team never ceases to amaze me.

I’ve just been informed that our campaign was able to reach our critical FEC end-of-quarter fundraising goal. We set the bar high for ourselves -- but thanks to folks like you stepping up when we needed you to, we’ll be able to show the nation that we have the support we need to defend our district and our values.

Running a winning campaign in a battleground district like this one is a marathon, not a sprint. We have plenty of potential bumps and roadblocks ahead of us, from redistricting surprises to attacks from national Republicans and their special interest donors.

But I know that we’ve got the muscle -- and the heart -- to see this through.
