The government doesn't NEED to censor us.

The government can't censor free speech because of the First Amendment,
but they have an ally who can do it for them.

Big Tech can make sure billions of people never see opposing opinions,
making dissent obsolete. Has Big Tech gotten so much power that they're
a shadowy, unofficial 4th branch of the government?

Because that's sure what it looks like to me, to the point where I felt
I had to write about it.

What do you think?

Does Big Tech have too much power? Should they be treated as private
businesses and protected under the Communications Decency Act? If they
have that protection, should they be able to moderate dissenting points
of view?
