In the previous round, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell crushed young insurrectionist, Senator Josh Hawley. In the House division, Marjorie Taylor Greene narrowly beat out House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

Now, McConnell and Greene have taken very different paths to get here. McConnell first came to Washington before Greene was even born and has spent decades obstructing the progressive agenda.

Meanwhile, Greene is a first-term congresswoman from Georgia and a rabid Q-Anon follower. Before she was elected, she wrote articles for a conspiracy theory website where she accused Hillary Clinton of murder and said that school shootings were fake.
