On March 25, the Georgia General Assembly passed and Governor Brian Kemp signed into law the Election Integrity Act (Senate Bill 202), which strengthens the integrity of our elections process while also expanding access to voting. Greater Georgia issued a statement fully supporting this legislation and applauding the work of the state legislature and the Governor.

Shortly thereafter, Greater Georgia also launched a digital ad campaign to support S.B. 202 and to show appreciation for key lawmakers who championed this important legislation and ushered it through the Georgia General Assembly. Greater Georgia also released a petition to thank these lawmakers for their hard work.

Unsurprisingly, liberal groups and many in the mainstream media began perpetuating a disinformation campaign, claiming Georgians were committing "voter suppression" for simply securing and strengthening our elections process. In fact, the new law actually expands voting access while restoring voter confidence in the system.

Yesterday, after the MLB announced it would relocate the All-Star Game and MLB Draft from Atlanta, Greater Georgia Chairwoman Kelly Loeffler released a statement condemning the League's decision to cave to the Radical Left's dishonest smear campaign against secure elections:

"It’s extremely unfortunate that the MLB has fallen into the woke, misinformation campaign being spread by Democrats – only to the detriment of hardworking Georgians and small businesses. At a time when the MLB had the opportunity to honor an iconic trailblazer in Hank Aaron, they instead opted to honor politics," Kelly Loeffler said. "Greater Georgia will continue to stand with the vast majority of Georgians who support the Election Integrity Act that expands access and strengthens the integrity of our elections."

Last weekend, Kelly Loeffler spoke with the Georgia Federation of Republican Women and the Georgia Association of College Republicans about ways to grow the Republican Party, reach more communities, and strengthen election integrity in our state.

On Tuesday, Kelly spoke with local leaders from minority communities across Georgia to collect their opinions on the best way to create and maintain an active dialogue with diverse groups and promote pro-growth policies both during and outside of an election year.
