Hello there,
Ted Cruz proudly defended Donald Trump's family separation policy, even as thousands of children were ripped from their parents in his own state.
While Trump was working to overthrow DACA in the Supreme Court and deport the hundreds of thousands of DREAMers who were brought here as children, Cruz was leading Trump's fight in the Senate, which isn't surprising considering he told a DREAMER he would deport her during his 2016 campaign.
Now, Cruz wants us to believe he has suddenly grown a conscience and cares about immigrant families. He has been parading at the southern border, waiting for an opportune photo-op to rally Americans against Biden's immigration policy.
Cruz didn't seem to have that concern when his own constituents froze to death as he vacationed in Cancun -- or when Trump was throwing unaccompanied children in cages.
But we're not going to let Cruz shift the narrative. The conservative news machine is powerful, and although Biden has made massive strides to end family separation and humanize immigration at the southern border, we know many Americans are now siding with Cruz.
How Americans view immigration will play a major role in the midterms next year. That's why we want to know if Americans are buying Cruz's story, and as one our most engaged supporters, we need to hear from you. Please, tell us:
