This week, the Supreme Court heard NCAA v. Alston, an antitrust challenge to the NCAA’s restrictions on compensation for players brought by former collegiate athletes. Thomas Nachbar, professor of law at the University of Virginia School of Law who authored a brief in support of the NCAA, and Sandeep Vaheesan, legal director at the Open Markets Institute who co-authored a brief on behalf of the players, join host Jeffrey Rosen to explore both sides of the case.

In 2019, the National Constitution Center hosted a program featuring activist Kim Phúc Phan Thi, and we shared that conversation from our archives this week. Phúc, the subject of one of the most famous photographs from the Vietnam War, discusses her firsthand experience of the war and its impact. She was joined by Black Hawk Down author Mark Bowden and composer and trumpeter Hannibal Lokumbe, who performed the piece he wrote in Phuc's honor. Jeffrey Rosen moderates.
