Hi friend, I'm Sean Rankin, the Executive Director here at DAGA, and today I'm sharing something exclusive with you - our 2021 playbook.

Last year, we reached more than 5.2 million voters to beat the odds in some razor-thin swing races. Thanks to unfailing supporters like you, we won the close races. As far as I'm concerned, you're my co-captain in electing the Democratic Attorneys General -- the People's Lawyers - and I need you in on this year's plan.

First things first: There are more than 30 AG seats up in 2021 and 2022, and we're gearing up to elect as many Dem AGs as possible. But without a presidential race to draw out voters, we need to grow our supporter base by a lot.

Together, we have to show more people that this down-ballot office touches every aspect of our lives - how we work, how we rebuild after this deadly pandemic, and how we better our families and communities - whether that's by email, phone, or just knocking on their front door (post-pandemic).

I get so fired up about this work, because I know that when the wrong people come into power, it's our most vulnerable populations who get hurt.

We've seen that play out daily after Donald Trump's defeat - it's still his judges who decide if GOP AGs can rip-up the Affordable Care Act, his hate speech that's fomenting anti-Asian violence everywhere, and his cronies trying to block COVID-19 relief and pass Jim Crow-era voter suppression laws in states across the country.

There is no place for a thriving Trump legacy in our future. DAGA wants to work with you to create something we all can share, something that leaves no one behind. And we're committed to electing AGs that will focus on justice and equity. Already, Dem AGs are out in full force, fighting hard for the ACA, voting rights, and expanded workplace protections - all in service of creating a more just and equitable America for everyone.
