Governor DeWine Appoints Steinhauer to Summit County Court of Common Pleas

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)?Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the judicial appointment of Susan K. Steinhauer to the Summit County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations Division.

Steinhauer, of Stow, will assume office on April 26, 2021, and will be replacing Judge Katarina Cook, who was elected to a different bench. Steinhauer will need to run for election in November 2022 to complete the unexpired term ending January 5, 2023.

Steinhauer has experience in the private sector, where she worked at the Law Office of John S. Steinhauer, Esq. from 2011 to 2021, coordinating litigation, including multi-district, complex litigation, and outside counsel for a major corporate client.

Steinhauer has additional experience in the public sector, where she served as magistrate, foreclosure specialist, and judicial attorney at the Summit County Court of Common Pleas.

Steinhauer holds a Juris Doctor from Indiana University School of Law. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University.
