Texas Republicans are trying to ram through S.B. 7 — one of the worst voter suppression bills in our state’s history.
Texas has the most restrictive voter laws in the entire country — it’s harder to vote in Texas than any state in the nation. And now, Republican lawmakers are working to make it even more difficult to vote.

The opposition to this bill is loud, and our pressure has gotten Texas-based companies like American Airlines and Dell to take a stand. We’re going to keep working to get others to join them and ultimately stop this bill in its tracks.
Texas Republicans have made clear that they don’t deserve to lead our state any longer. From the coronavirus response, to the Texas winter power crisis, to these latest attempts to keep people from voting — our leaders have failed us in their pursuit of political power.
Now we must replace them.
