Recently, a leaked private phone call between a Mitch McConnell staffer and right-wing dark money organizations revealed just how desperately Republican billionaires are trying to stop the For the People Act.

This should be great news. A resounding majority of Americans -- Democrats, Republicans, Independents, everyone -- supports the For the People Act. Our entire country is uniting to strengthen our democracy!

But Republicans aren’t even pretending to care about what the majority of Americans want. They’re terrified because this legislation will shut down their ability to influence our elections with their money. They’ve given up trying to argue against it -- Rachel Maddow reports that right-wing special interest groups are now turning their millions to pressure senators into “legislative obstruction.”

We can’t let this dark money campaign sway a single Senator. We the People want HR1 -- will you sign on to show your support and demand the Senate pass the For the People Act ASAP?
