Republicans are putting everything they've got into passing archaic voter suppression laws all across the country. The only way the GOP can regain power is by making sure Democrats don't turn out to vote, so they're doing everything they can to legislate that.
But President Joe Biden isn't going to sit on the sidelines and watch it happen. In his words, “This is Jim Crow in the 21st Century. It must end. We have a moral and Constitutional obligation to act.”
Friend, we couldn't agree more, and we know you're with us. From restricting mail-in voting to outlawing giving water to voters waiting in hours-long lines, Republicans are trying to drag us back to before the civil rights movement.
At Progressive Majority, we believe that our lawmakers should make it easier to vote, not harder. We need to stop Republicans now before it's too late, because the more laws that they pass, the harder it will be to elect progressives to fight back in the future.
