John,

Direct outreach to voters will be essential to passing the For the People Act.

Our team launched a grassroots advocacy campaign to connect directly to folks in states like Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania so we can gain support from their senators who will likely decide the fate of this bill.

We set a weekly goal of raising $18,750 -- the price tag to fund our grassroots campaign for one week. Our finance team crunched the numbers today and reported back to us that we’ve only raised $12,572. Can we count on you to pitch in right now to keep our momentum going?

So far, our volunteers have sent more than 329,413 text messages to folks in Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania (we’ve already reached so many people we’d otherwise be unable to!). This form of peer-to-peer outreach has already proven to be effective -- and I believe it will continue being an instrumental resource in helping us expand our coalition to gain enough support for the For the People Act.

The For the People Act is already popular, we just need to make sure senators all over the country and in places like Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania know that their constituents are in favor of this bill. Will you make a donation right now and help us reach our goal of raising $18,750? We’re only $6,178 away from our goal.

It’s all in our hands,
