We’ve got some disturbing news fresh out of the mouth of the GOP establishment. Earlier this week, Kirk Cox praised Georgia’s new Jim Crow-style voting law and discussed how “I think some of the things...that Georgia just did are very important!” And he made a point to say he wants Virginia to go further!

“There’s a whole host of agenda things we can do. But we gotta get elected first...”

We can’t let Cox, or any of his friends, get elected in November. Donate today to keep Virginia blue and to stop voter suppression.

By praising the new voter suppression laws in Georgia, Cox all but ensured that if Republicans take back the Governor's Mansion in 2021, Virginia will be next to restrict voting rights.

While Cox was spewing out his support for voter suppression tactics, Democrats were moving forward with the Virginia Voting Rights Act, the first legislation of its kind in a Southern state. This Act will protect voters against suppression, discrimination, and intimidation. This is the way our Commonwealth should be moving, and we need to make sure Republicans like Cox can’t roll back our progress.

We cannot allow the GOP to take the Commonwealth back to Jim Crow-style voting laws. Can you chip in today to stop the GOP voter intimidation and suppression tactics?
