We're less than two weeks out from the two shootings that rocked our country and left 18 families mourning the loss of a loved one, and already Republicans are doing everything they can to play down the constant looming threat of gun violence in America.

Lindsey Graham took to Fox News last weekend, and when he tried to defend Republicans' refusal to pass any gun reforms in the wake of mass shootings, all he could come up with was his need for an AR-15 so he could defend himself against "gangs" in a "natural disaster."

So to recap -- Lindsey Graham would rather hold on to his AR-15 in case of a post-apocalyptic scenario than provide real relief to his constituents and Americans who live in constant fear of losing their life in a mass shooting when they leave their houses.

Friend, the time for inaction is long gone. When our country faces two mass shootings in one week, there is obviously a problem -- and it's time to elect lawmakers who won't look the other way because they love their firearms. When Republicans put the NRA over the lives of their constituents, it's time to vote them out.

We've got a plan to support progressive candidates all over the country in 2022, and vote out the NRA-loving Republicans who put their firearms first. But we can't do it alone. You helped us flip the Senate and the White House in 2020, and now we're hoping you'll team up with us to elect a progressive majority that will pass meaningful gun reforms.
