On this Good Friday it is worth thinking about why no mail will be delivered and why the financial markets are closed. No famous or powerful person has had his or her death honored in this way.   It is also worth noting that the man whose death is memorialized today is the most famous person who has ever existed. And that man was a poor stonecutter who lived in a tiny hamlet with his immediate family.
