Dina Mikulka joins T.C. McCourt and A.J. Oliver in Democratic run for Morris County Commissioner

Dina Mikulka, a matrimonial law attorney and former member of the Mine Hill Board of Education, has joined T.C. McCourt and A.J. Oliver’s ticket for Morris County Commissioner. Dina completes the ticket as the three head into Saturday's special nominating convention for the Morris County Democratic Committee.

After receiving her Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers with honors, she graduated from Seton Hall School of Law in 1999. A former Probation Officer and Parole Officer, Dina served as a Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General before entering private practice in 2005. She is a member of the Family Law Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association and serves on several subcommittees and as the liaison from the Committee to Sussex County. Dina is a trustee of the Sussex County Bar Association and regularly volunteers her time for legal education programs. Dina has resided in Mine Hill since 2008.

"Dina has a tremendous amount of experience in service to her community and state.  She is an asset to this robust ticket of servant leaders.  Our team of Commissioner candidates is ready to set forth a positive agenda for Morris County on day one." Oliver said.

“Dina’s personal and professional qualifications are outstanding, but what excites me most is her longstanding commitment to public service. This is not a ticket of politicians, but of public servants ready to give back in a new way.” McCourt said.

In 2016, Dina was appointed to fill an unexpired term on the Mine Hill Board of Education. She was elected to a full three-year term in November 2016. Dina's passion for family mediation led her to organize a low-cost family law mediation program through a local community-based agency in Newton, NJ

“My focus will be on achieving a fair and fiscally balanced approach to the administration of county government,” Mikulka said. “For too long, the Commissioner Board has ignored some serious issues facing our county residents, and it’s time to address them.  I firmly believe these issues can be addressed without putting any additional financial burdens on our residents.”
