Friend, Senator Mazie Hirono spoke to the New York Times and said what we've all been thinking.
When she was asked about her working relationship with Republicans following the January 6 insurrection, Hirono replied, “I often wonder how they wake up in the morning and face themselves.”
Here at Progressive Majority, we wholeheartedly agree.
Republican lawmakers in Congress at best assume they can close their eyes and pretend January 6 didn't happen, and at worst they actively defend the insurrectionists who threatened the lives of progressive lawmakers as “patriots.”
