Our first FEC quarterly fundraising deadline was intense -- but it was a huge success thanks to you. It means the world to me to know that so many grassroots supporters like you continue to have my back.

The most important takeaway from this quarter is not just the fact that this fundraising quarter was a success -- but also, that each and every one of you showed up to do the work.

Hundreds of you added your name beside mine calling on the Senate to pass gun reform, the Equality Act, H.R.1, the Justice in Policing Act, and most importantly -- COVID relief. And thanks to your grassroots efforts, earlier this month, both the House and Senate were able to pass a COVID relief package that President Biden signed into law just 2 days later.

You helped get your fellow Americans the long-overdue relief they needed -- that everyone needed. Whether it was stimulus checks, small business loans, or the expansion of testing and vaccination appointments, you helped to play a role in each of these things -- and for that, you should be so proud.

Friend, I'm so grateful to have someone like you on my team. Let's continue to lead with love and compassion -- going hand-in-hand in everything we do.
