John, COVID-19 continues to spread and Americans are rightfully worried about getting sick or losing their livelihoods, but hope is on the horizon. As vaccination efforts continue around the country, we can be confident that all Americans will soon have access to effective vaccines. Yet, other countries have still yet to vaccinate their most at risk. Over 60% of the world’s population live in countries that won't see widespread vaccine coverage until 2022 or even later, allowing the virus to continue to mutate and extending the lifespan of this pandemic. But there’s something we can do to change this. The United States has secured over 550 million surplus doses of vaccine, more doses than we need to vaccinate 100% of the country. John, will you sign our petition and call on President Biden to share surplus doses with the countries being left behind? |

The petition reads: Dear President Biden, We are urgently calling on you to share the United States’ surplus COVID-19 vaccine doses with low-income countries. We want the most vulnerable people protected wherever they live and recognize that, especially with the virus continuing to mutate, none of us are safe until we defeat the pandemic everywhere. If the vaccine isn't everywhere, this pandemic isn't going anywhere. Thank you, Brett Jacobson, Campaigns Team P.S. Watch and share “Pandemica”, a new animated content series from ONE to raise awareness and explain the critical importance of getting vaccines to all countries as quickly as possible.
