Our host Ijeoma is a self-described writer, speaker and Internet yeller! She’s the author of So You Want to Talk About Race and Mediocre: The Dangerous Legacy of White Male America and lives in the Alliance’s home city of Seattle.
As you know, David is a survivor of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida and co-founder of March for Our Lives. He has been a tireless and courageous advocate in the gun violence prevention movement.
We are incredibly grateful that these two inspiring leaders will be joining us. At the event we’ll celebrate our progress and reflect on the work ahead, which was made even more urgent with the tragedies in Boulder and Atlanta.
