Today is April Fool’s Day, and to mark the occasion, we’re launching a contest to have the people vote in matchups of the biggest Republican clowns around the country. 

We may have voted the GOP’s biggest clown out of the Oval Office last fall, but the Republican National Circus continues to treat our democracy like a joke. In response, we’ve selected eight of the worst GOP elected officials up for election next year to face off in a bracket tournament.

At the end of the three-week competition, we’ll crown a winner who will be the recipient of our first ad campaign of the cycle highlighting their foolish attempts to undermine our right to vote and block our progressive vision for the country.

For the next three weeks, we will ask you to vote for your pick by texting CIRCUS to 25998. The politician with the most votes will move on to the next round the following week.
