In case you missed my note the other day, I want to let you know some exciting news: I'm running for Congress again.

Last year, we came so close to winning -- seriously, only 333 votes away from winning. Now, I'm running again to get the job done once and for all.

When I launched my first campaign for Congress over a year ago, things were very different. Donald Trump was our president, Mitch McConnell was Senate majority leader, and our hopes of achieving real progress in Washington were not great.

Now? We're over a year into a once-in-a-generation pandemic that has fundamentally altered our lives. We've lost over half a million people to COVID-19, not to mention severe economic harm, shuttered small businesses, closed schools, and more.

We also have the opportunity to enact real change under the Biden-Harris Administration and Democrat-controlled Congress.

But instead of getting to work to pull our families through hardship, Mike Garcia is stoking partisan flames, dividing us instead of uniting us.

He refused to condemn Donald Trump for encouraging a deadly insurrection at our nation's Capitol.

He denies science and facts, calling for ends to mask mandates and overly-hasty reopenings of our country.

He sides with conspiracy theorists, standing by Marjorie Taylor Greene while she promoted QAnon and other hateful ideas.

Instead of dividing us, our member of Congress should be working hard to unite us, to build us up, to make our country stronger and better for us all.

That's why I'm running for Congress again.
