Hi John,
I wanted to drop you a note and let you know that, thanks to the generosity of this entire team, Run for Something reached its end-of-quarter fundraising goal right in time.
Fundraising is never
easy, and it's a little bit tougher in so-called "off-years.'' In between federal elections, it's normal for organizations to experience lower activist participation, lethargic donor support, and a general lack of urgency for the issues we champion.
But, in the most humblebrag way possible, Run for Something breaks that norm 😁
Over 100 of you have signed up as volunteers this year, we're currently on track to break our annual candidate recruitment record, and grassroots donors have ALWAYS come through for us when we need you the most -- there are clearly no "off-years" here!
So I just wanted to say
thank you, John, for treating every year like an "on-year" and proving your commitment to winning sustainable progressive power every chance you get.
This team is the best, and I wouldn't trade you for anything.
Thanks again,
Amanda Litman
