Alex Clark - Egmont

"Alex Clark is a young entrepreneur who currently has two small businesses located in Summerside; OpenEats and Evermoore Brewing Co. Alex is also a graduate of the UPEI Business program. He shares his voice on two tourism associations; Explore Summerside and North Cape Coastal Drive. In business and life, Alex has seen and felt the stresses to the environment, natural and economical, all around him. His desire to be a candidate is driven by the idea that our economy can flourish with appreciation, respect, and acknowledgement that our natural world must be protected. Alex has seen some positive investments in his community with Greening technologies and wants to be a voice to continuing positive efforts that will protect the beautiful Egmont for generations to come and the industries which employ so many; fishing and farming."

The campaign can always use more helping hands! You can contact Alex's campaign team to see how you can help.

Anna Keenan - Malpeque

"Anna Keenan and her young family live near New Glasgow. Her academic background is in science and economics. Since graduating, she has worked for 13 years for international advocacy organizations - Avaaz.org, Greenpeace, and currently 350.org. Climate change and renewable energy policy has been her professional focus, and is her primary motivation for running now; if the old-party politicians won't respond to the evidence in time, we need to change politicians! On the island, Anna has served as Proportional Representation campaign director for the 2016 plebiscite. She sits on the board of Fair Vote Canada, and was named by Elizabeth May as the Party's shadow cabinet critic for Democratic Institutions. Many members of the PEI Greens know her as the provincial party's former President - she oversaw 2 critical years of structural growth in the party, setting up our party's strategic plan and internal decision-making processes, between Peter's first election, and Hannah Bell's breakthrough in the 2017 byelection. She is actively involved in the island's performing arts scene as a dancer and stiltwalker."

The campaign is looking for volunteers to help in the following areas:
  • phone canvassing
  • door-to-door canvassing, either with Anna or independently in their own communities
  • multimedia video production for social media
  • donation & website systems management

Darcie Lanthier - Charlottetown

"Darcie has dedicated her life to critical social and economic issues. Whenever she encounters injustice, Darcie steps up. In her work as a Public Legal Information Officer, Darcie helps people understand the law and navigate the justice system. She is also a trained energy systems technologist with a specialization in solar photovoltaics. She is a business woman and a supporter and promoter of Island artists.

Darcie has long been involved in the Green Party, both at the provincial and federal level and she has served as Green Party interim provincial leader, deputy leader, and twice as a candidate. Darcie's commitment to our community and the Green Party was acknowledged when she received The Green Party of PEI - 2019 Legacy Award. She received the Green Party of Canada's 2014 Community Involvement Award. Darcie's team is painting Charlottetown Green - one sign and door knock at a time! Check out the Green Party of Canada TV ad which features Darcie prominently."

Glen Beaton - Cardigan

"After completing a BSc from UNB, Glen returned to Prince Edward Island and began teaching at Kensington High School. He spent the bulk of his professional career as a senior management public servant within the departments of development, tourism and highway safety. After 30 years of service, he retired and built a golf course and tourism operation which he ran for 20 years. Glen has dedicated his adult years to service clubs and local government within his community.

Glen believes we live in the most beautiful place in Canada. The connection to the land and sea are ingrained here, as we have all participated in the bounty of the island. Our roots run deep in this province. Glen believes we need to work together to make sure we pass this land onto our children and grandchildren in as pristine condition as it was left to us. But we have a lot of work to do. Glen's lifetime of experience, dedication and hard work in local governance will help to achieve these goals."

The campaign can always use more helping hands! You can contact Glen's campaign team to see how you can help!
