Dear John, Good news everyone! The Energy
Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act has been re-introduced by Rep. Ted
Deutch in the House of Representatives along with 28 original
cosponsors. Join our Legislative Update webinar, Today, Thursday, at 8pm
Eastern, to learn about the reintroduction of the Energy Innovation and
Carbon Dividend Act in the U.S. House of Representatives.

We are excited that the reintroduction includes an updated emissions
schedule, leading to net-zero emissions in 2050. And while we are
disappointed that there are not any Republicans as original cosponsors,
we understand Rep. Deutch's decision to move forward given the momentum
for climate action in Congress. After all, getting introduced is the
first step to getting passed. With your help, we will continue building
support for carbon pricing from both Republicans and Democrats in
Congress. With climate a major priority for Congress in 2021 we've never
had a better opportunity to pass climate legislation, and we see growing
support for carbon pricing from business organizations like the US
Chamber of Commerce as well as support by key members of President
Biden's team. What can you do?
