Good afternoon - we wanted to reach out with a quick update of Bill Pascrell in the News. News today comes at you 24/7 so it's impossible to keep up. We just wanted to make sure you saw some of the important things Bill has been up to in Washington to serve the families of Bergen, Passaic, and Hudson Counties.  

1. Pascrell, Democrats go big on impeachment
"Other North and Central Jersey Democrats in the delegation, including Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr., have long called for the impeachment process to go forward. On Tuesday, Pascrell said, 'If we allow it to stand unanswered, then we will render the Article I branch and our entire constitutional order null and void.'"

2. Pascrell shares mistakenly released White House talking points
"'They're complete Orwellian lies and toxic trash, but maybe you'd like to read them to appreciate their corruption!' Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr said. "'Hazmat suit possibly required!'"

3. Pascrell amendment could create simple banking
"Even funding is available to test [postal banking]. Congressman Bill Pascrell successfully passed a bipartisan amendment...allocating $1 million to establish a postal banking bill."

4. Pascrell obtains grant for Hudson County fire department
"In addition to the new Secaucus fire boat secured by our local congressman this past summer, Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. announced last week he also obtained a $10,186 federal grant for the Secaucus fire department. The money will be used by the Secaucus fire department to...purchase new gas monitors that will replace nine older units. These devices are used for calls when there is a potential gas leak."
