John — In 2020, SEEC PAC turned heads with the support we directed to our pro-environment SEEC members. Despite Democrats losing seats in the House, because of grassroots support from donors like you, SEEC reelected almost all of our incumbent members in addition to helping elect a handful of new Members of Congress we endorsed.

Now, all eyes are on us to see if we can keep up the momentum and give the same support to our members in the next election. Tonight at 11:59 PM is our FEC End-of-Quarter fundraising deadline when all of our finances go public. If fossil fuel interests see our donations going down, they will know they have a prime opportunity to defeat our pro-environment representatives in 2022.

That’s why we’re asking: Will you make a $10 or $25 gift to SEEC PAC ahead of our FEC End-of-Quarter deadline tonight at 11:59 PM? [[link removed]]

The Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition (SEEC) PAC is a coalition of nearly 70 Members of Congress committed to protecting our environment. With your help, we have advocated for green policies, stood up to the Trump Administration’s reckless rollbacks of environmental protections, and are now using our Congressional Majority to advance green policies and get pro-environmental provisions into laws.

SEEC members pushed for important climate policies in the $1.4 trillion omnibus government spending package passed in the final weeks of the Trump Administration, including renewable energy tax credit extensions, ramp down of HFC pollution, and increased funding for clean energy R&D programs within the Department of Energy to help support an economic recovery that also puts us on a path to decarbonize our economy.

Taken together, outside organizations estimate that the green policies we pushed for will help prevent 949 million tons of carbon dioxide from being emitted by 2035. Now we are stepping up to advance bolder, more comprehensive climate action with a new, climate-focused President in the White House.

But progress could be at risk if our pro-environment members don’t have the resources they need to stand up to far-right operative groups and fossil fuel interests in 2022. That’s why we are counting on our grassroots donors to step up and pitch in a donation before 11:59 PM tonight. Can we count on you, John? [[link removed]]
