Jamia is the Executive Editor at Random House, one of the largest book publishers in the world, and was formerly the youngest and first woman of color to serve as the Director and Publisher of the Feminist Press at CUNY. Jamia has been a leading voice on women’s rights issues for over a decade and has published numerous books and articles.

I hope you’ll join us for an in-depth, high energy discussion between Jamia and Lindsey about New York’s historic upcoming election and how we can create a better and more equal city through progressive action and reform.

The event will be an open, free flowing discussion, so all attendees will have an opportunity to have their voice heard, ask questions, and propose ideas.
