By now you’ve probably heard about the evidence: chickens raised for Costco unable to walk, left for dead, and suffering chemical burns from lying in ammonia-soaked litter. But have you heard the excuse?
“no system is foolproof when you are raising 18 million [chickens] at any given time.” — Costco’s general counsel
It gets worse. Costco has also dared to suggest that much of the suffering documented in their own factory farm represents “normal and uneventful activity.”
I’m sure you’ll agree—there’s nothing “normal” about animal abuse.
This might be obvious to you and me. Costco, on the other hand, needs a serious wake-up call. If you agree, please join me in taking three simple actions that will show Costco that cruelty to animals is anything but normal. Hint: The first step is to sign our petition!

Easy actions like these might seem small on their own, but I promise—together, alongside the actions of other caring people like you—they create a chorus of compassion that even giants like Costco cannot ignore.
Your voice can make the difference.
