Hey there,

I won't sugarcoat this: we're far behind where we need to be to reach our
first quarter goal.

We set a goal of raising $3 million this quarter. I know the election is
still a ways off, but what makes our movement strong is that we don’t just
organize around elections. 

We are organizing 365 days a year because we know that’s what’s required
to take on special interests and win the progressive reforms we need —
like raising the minimum wage, cancelling student debt, reimagining our
immigration system, and more. 

It’s why we host weekly Green New Deal phone banks, coordinate food relief
efforts, and work to support progressive candidates like Nina Turner. It’s
why Alexandria traveled to Texas to support relief efforts after the
storm. 

We don’t accept money from corporate PACs or special interests to help us
grow this movement. It’s all folks just like you – chipping in $3, $10, or
even $27 at a time. We’re stronger because of it and we’re changing the
politics in Washington.
